26 LC 129 1516 House Resolution 2069 By: Representatives Martin of the 49th, Jones of the 47th, Erwin of the 32nd, Jones of the 25th, Cox of the 28th, and others A RESOLUTION Congratulating the FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team for winning the Spring 20251 GHSA Esports State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team has established and maintained3 a proud tradition of excellence, demonstrating outstanding skil l, strategic thinking, and4 perseverance in the realm of competitive esports; and5 WHEREAS, this exceptional team completed another triumphant sea son of competitive6 gaming by posting an outstanding record of seven wins and only one loss, culminating in7 their second esports state championship in school history; and8 WHEREAS, Splatoon 3 is a fast-paced, team-based esports title t hat requires exceptional9 coordination, adaptability, and strategic execution, all of which the FCS Innovation Academy10 team has mastered to achieve their numerous victories; and11 WHEREAS, under the astute leadership of Head Coaches Zabby Heying and James Seals,12 the team has consistently demonstrated the highest standards of competitive excellence,13 dedicating themselves to weekly training, strategic development, and a deep understanding14 of game mechanics to remain at the forefront of the competition; and 15 H. R. 2069 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1516 WHEREAS, this outstanding team has brought great honor to FCS Innovation Academy and16 the surrounding community through their impressive achievements, setting a high standard17 for future competitors and inspiring their peers in the field of esports; and 18 WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by19 performing with courage and precision over months of training a nd competition, it is20 abundantly proper to call them champions. 21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 the members of this body commend the FCS Innovation Academy Spl atoon 3 team for23 winning the Spring 2025 GHSA Esports State Championship and extend best wishes for their24 continued success. 25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized26 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the27 FCS Innovation Academy Splatoon 3 team.28 H.
