HR2017: HR2017 Prunescu, Alexander Vladimir; outstanding public service; commend

26 LC 129 1529 House Resolution 2017 By: Representative Gullett of the 19th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Alexander Vladimir Prunescu on his o utstanding public1 service; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Alexander Vladimir Prunescu has long been recognized by the citizens of this3 state for his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and4 WHEREAS, Alexander, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, is a junior at Georgia Gwinnett College,5 majoring in International Relations with a minor in Legal Studies; and6 WHEREAS, he is a member of the Honors Program and a Zell Miller recipient, and serves7 as Secretary of the GGC Law Society; and8 WHEREAS, as a member of the inaugural cohort of the Georgia Gwinnett College Internship9 Program at the Georgia State Capitol, he contributed through de tailed bill summaries,10 research on policy issues including strategies to lower insurance rates, and direct engagement11 with constituents by giving tours and assisting guests in his representative’s office; and 12 WHEREAS, Alexander is passionate about international policy analysis, particularly in the13 areas of geopolitics, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East; and14 H. R. 2017 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1529 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this15 remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 the members of this body recognize and commend Alexander Vladim ir Prunescu for his18 efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend19 the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to22 Alexander Vladimir Prunescu.23 H.
