26 LC 112 3964 House Resolution 2053 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, Jones of the 25th, McDonald III of the 26th, Jasperse of the 11th, Barrett of the 24th, and others A RESOLUTION Congratulating the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team for winning the 20261 GHSA Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the student-athletes of South Forsyth have demonstrate d unparalleled3 dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit during the 2025-2026 swimming season; and4 WHEREAS, the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team has reached the pinnacle5 of athletic achievement by capturing the 2026 GHSA Class 6A Sta te Championship,6 representing their school and community with distinction; and7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that8 the members of this body congratulate the South Forsyth High School girls swimming team9 for winning the 2026 GHSA Class 6A State Championship and exten d their deepest10 appreciation to the coaches, families, and supporters who contributed to this historic season.11 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized12 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to South13 Forsyth High School.14 H.
