26 LC 129 1536 House Resolution 2048 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, Barrett of the 24th, Jasperse of the 11th, McDonald III of the 26th, Jones of the 25th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Artemis Eaton; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Artemis Eaton, a senior at North Forsyth High School, has demonstrated2 unparalleled excellence, discipline, and dominance in the sport of wrestling throughout her3 high school career; and4 WHEREAS, Artemis concluded her senior season with a flawless 41-0 record, culminating5 in her fourth consecutive state title and securing her place as the first female four-tine6 Wrestling State Champion in the history of the State of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, her career statistics reflect a level of mastery, finishing with a staggering 140-08 career record and an extraordinary 131 pins, signifying that she never once tasted defeat on9 the mat in four years of competition; and10 WHEREAS, her path to history was paved with consistent excellence, including earning the11 titles four-time Area Champion and four-time Sectional Champion , proving her mettle at12 every level of the Georgia High School Association.13 H. R. 2048 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1536 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that14 the members of this body recognize and commend Artemis Eaton for her undefeated career,15 her contributions to the sport of wrestling, and her remarkable achievement as Georgia's first16 female four time State Champion.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to19 Artemis Eaton.20 H.
