HR2016: HR2016 Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office; commend

26 LC 112 4167 House Resolution 2016 By: Representative Parrish of the 158th A RESOLUTION Commending the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County1 Sheriff's Office; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County3 Sheriff's Office collaborated to arrest and federally indict fo ur individuals on child sex4 trafficking charges; and5 WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office specifically recognized6 District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and Chief Investigator Rocky Davis; and7 WHEREAS, the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office specifically recog nized Sheriff Jeffrey8 Brewer and Investigator Michael Reddish for their roles; and9 WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County10 Sheriff's Office conducted a week-long investigation into a chi ld sex trafficking operation11 in November 2025; and12 WHEREAS, District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and Sheriff Jeffrey Brewer combined offices and13 resources, thereby following the case from Emanuel County to Savannah and Atlanta; and14 H. R. 2016 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4167 WHEREAS, authorities arrested four local individuals connected to the trafficking and15 exploitation of five minor victims; and16 WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County17 Sheriff's Office were recognized by United States Attorney Gene ral Pam Bondi for their18 outstanding work in this case.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body commend District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and Chief Investigator21 Rocky Davis of the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office as well as Sheriff22 Jeffrey Brewer and Investigator Michael Reddish of the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office for23 their exemplary service.24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized25 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution avai lable for distribution to the26 public and the press.27 H.
