26 LC 112 4193 House Resolution 2030 By: Representatives Hugley of the 141st and Williams of the 168th A RESOLUTION Honoring Elect Lady Mary Frances Cochran for her faithful service; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper to recognize and celebrate individuals whose lives2 exemplify unwavering faith, steadfast service, and enduring love; and3 WHEREAS, the distinguished Elect Lady Mary Frances Cochran of t he Franchise4 Missionary Baptist Church has been divinely chosen and spiritually appointed to serve God5 and His people with grace, humility, and dedication for an extraordinary 57 years; and6 WHEREAS, throughout her years of service, she has stood as a pillar of strength beside her7 husband, Dr. Raymond Cochran, in ministry, offering wisdom, com passion, and spiritual8 guidance to countless members of the church family and community; and9 WHEREAS, her commitment extended beyond the church walls as she faithfully maintained10 a professional career for 21 years, demonstrating diligence, balance, and perseverance while11 continuing her sacred calling; and12 WHEREAS, she has been abundantly blessed to nurture, raise, and educate six daughters and13 two sons, instilling in them the values of faith, integrity, and purpose; and14 H. R. 2030 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4193 WHEREAS, her legacy of love and leadership has flourished acros s four generations,15 including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each a testament16 to her enduring influence and godly example; and17 WHEREAS, her life's work reflects a profound commitment to serv ice, family, and faith,18 inspiring all who have been privileged to know her and benefit from her guidance.19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20 the members of this body honor and celebrate the remarkable Ele ct Lady Mary Frances21 Cochran for her lifelong dedication, her selfless service, and her unwavering devotion to22 God, her family, and her church community.23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized24 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Elect25 Lady Mary Frances Cochran.26 H.
