26 LC 112 4104 House Resolution 2025 By: Representatives Campbell of the 35 th, M c Q u e e n o f t h e 6 1st, Seabaugh of the 34 th, Williams of the 37th, Hong of the 103rd, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Wheeler High School Social Studi es National Honor1 Society; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, located at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, t he members of the5 Wheeler High School Social Studies National Honor Society work to spread the importance6 of social science education; and7 WHEREAS, the society hosts a weekly segment on the Wheeler High School's morning news8 called "Civic Chats with the Wildcats," wherein topics such as governmental operations,9 civic issues, and historical events are discussed; and10 WHEREAS, membership in this distinguished organization reflects a sincere dedication to11 academic excellence, commitment to service, and the development of strong character and12 leadership skills; and13 H. R. 2025 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4104 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this exemplary society be appropriately14 honored during this special time.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body recognize and commend the Wheeler High School Social Studies17 National Honor Society and extend best wishes to each of its members for future success.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the20 Wheeler High School Social Studies National Honor Society.21 H.
