26 LC 112 4142 House Resolution 2063 By: Representatives Martin of the 49th, Jones of the 47th, Jones of the 25th, Cox of the 28th, and Hilton of the 48th A RESOLUTION Commending Vincent Nnanna of Alpharetta High School for winning the 2025 GHSA 6A1 Individual Track and Field State Championship in the 110m hurdles; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Vincent Nnanna, a senior at Alpharetta High School, ha s established and3 maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;4 and5 WHEREAS, this superlative athlete has completed a triumphant season of track competition6 that included several prestigious invitationals and meets; and7 WHEREAS, excellent skill, superior fitness, and extraordinary r esilience made Vincent8 Nnanna a spectacular runner to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to his9 remarkable 2025 campaign, Vincent Nnanna captured the state championship in the 110m10 hurdles with a time of 14.26 seconds; and11 WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of Vincent Nnanna is a clea r indication of his12 outstanding athletic ability, his dedication and hard work, and his fighting spirit; his superb13 discipline and commitment to track; and the astute direction of Head Coach Answa "AJ"14 Merine; and15 H. R. 2063 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4142 WHEREAS, as this outstanding athlete earned his well-deserved reputation for excellence16 by performing with confidence, grit, and precision over months of training, conditioning, and17 competition, it is abundantly proper to call him a champion.18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that19 the members of this body commend Vincent Nnanna of Alpharetta High School for winning20 the 2025 GHSA 6A Individual Track and Field State Championship in the 110m hurdles and21 extend their most sincere best wishes for continued success.22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to24 Vincent Nnanna.25 H.
