26 LC 129 1553 House Resolution 2102 By: Representative Lumsden of the 12th A RESOLUTION Commending Julie Lane, Chattooga County High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and for1 other purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Julie Lane has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role5 that she has played in the teaching profession and her deep per sonal commitment to the6 education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Julie Lane has earned distinction for teaching excellence and has been honored8 as Chattooga County High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 2102 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1553 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend Julie Lane, Chattooga County High School's 2026 STAR14 Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Julie17 Lane.18 H.
