26 LC 129 1545 House Resolution 2094 By: Representative Jones of the 25th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Mr. Tim Thomas; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, Mr. Tim Thomas is a dedicated highschool math teacher and college math2 professor; and3 WHEREAS, in the wake of the tragic Apalachee High School shooting that claimed the lives4 of math teachers Cristina Irimie and Richard Aspinwall, Mr. Tim Thomas selflessly stepped5 down from his position at Lanier Technical College to return to teaching high school; and6 WHEREAS, demonstrating exceptional compassion, courage, and commitment to education,7 Mr. Tim Thomas provided students with stability, mentorship, an d hope in a time of8 profound tragedy; and9 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor the selfl ess dedication of this10 remarkable and distinguished Georgian.11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that12 the members of this body recognize and commend Mr. Tim Thomas and extend their sincere13 best wises for his continued health, happiness, and success.14 H.
