26 LC 112 4158 House Resolution 2124 By: Representatives Greene of the 154th, Yearta of the 152nd, Cheokas of the 151st, Taylor of the 173rd, and Hawkins of the 27th A RESOLUTION Commending Tracie Naylor-Griffin; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to recognize individuals whos e selfless service,2 unwavering dedication, and extraordinary character have made a lasting impact on their3 communities and the lives of others; and4 WHEREAS, Tracie Naylor-Griffin has devoted more than three deca des to the field of5 emergency medical services, serving both on the front lines of patient care and as a respected6 educator, shaping the next generation of EMS professionals; and7 WHEREAS, as program chair of the Emergency Medical Services Dep artment at Albany8 Technical College, Mrs. Naylor-Griffin has demonstrated excepti onal leadership and9 commitment to excellence in education, inspiring countless stud ents to pursue careers of10 service and compassion; and11 WHEREAS, even as she faces a courageous battle with oral cancer , Mrs. Naylor-Griffin12 continues to exemplify unparalleled strength and devotion to her calling, choosing to remain13 actively engaged in her work despite a terminal diagnosis; and14 H. R. 2124 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4158 WHEREAS, her steadfast resolve, humility, and perseverance stan d as a testament to her15 love for her profession, her students, and her community, embod ying the true spirit of a16 servant leader who gives herself completely in service to others.17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18 the members of this body commend Tracie Naylor-Griffin for her lifelong commitment to19 saving lives, educating others, and upholding the highest standards of the EMS profession.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to22 Tracie Naylor-Griffin.23 H.
