26 LC 129 1551 House Resolution 2092 By: Representatives Lumsden of the 12th, Barton of the 5th, and Dempsey of the 13th A RESOLUTION Commending Kelly Goldin, Model High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and for other1 purposes.2 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most3 important objective of the General Assembly; and4 WHEREAS, Kelly Goldin has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital5 role that she has played in the teaching profession and her deep personal commitment to the6 education of the students of Georgia; and7 WHEREAS, Kelly Goldin has earned distinction for teaching excel lence and has been8 honored as Model High School's 2026 STAR Teacher; and9 WHEREAS, in recognition of her contributions to the education and welfare of young people10 in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this bod y to honor the extraordinary11 accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.12 H. R. 2092 - 1 - 26 LC 129 1551 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body commend Kelly Goldin, Model High Schoo l's 2026 STAR14 Teacher, and express their most sincere best wishes for continued success.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Kelly17 Goldin.18 H.
