26 LC 112 4227 House Resolution 2110 By: Representatives Lumsden of the 12th, Dempsey of the 13th, and Barton of the 5th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the 2026 Heart of Community Award of Honor recipient Traci1 Tillery; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Traci Tillery is a Nurse Practitioner with a 34-year c areer in nursing, having3 worked at Atrium Floyd Health; and4 WHEREAS, during her career, Traci realized the importance of fo ot care and foot5 maintenance and began the first nurse-driven foot care clinic i n the Floyd County area at6 Floyd Medical Center; and7 WHEREAS, after much research and paperwork, Stars Align Outreac h, a 501(c)(3)8 non-profit, was born and "The Toe Truck" became the Northwest G eorgia Mobile Foot9 Clinic; and10 WHEREAS, through collaboration with local non-profit Fork, Spoon, and Plate, "The Toe11 Truck" provides services to the homeless and other members of the community in need; and 12 H. R. 2110 - 1 - 26 LC 112 4227 WHEREAS, Traci and her team have built relationships with their clients, serving them with13 dignity and respect as they provide the much-needed medical att ention that their clients14 cannot afford; and15 WHEREAS, Traci serves on the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Credentialing Board16 Advanced Practice Committee, where, among other duties, she is on the committee17 responsible for writing the exam questions for the national certifying exam; and18 WHEREAS, Traci has had an outstanding professional career and c ontinues making a19 difference in the lives of those whom others often choose to look past; and20 WHEREAS, Traci is "all in" when it comes to living out her passion to care for others with21 her servant's heart, and the community is better because of her dedication to those in need.22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 the members of this body recognize Traci Tillery for her outsta nding dedication to the24 community, commend her as a recipient of the 2026 Heart of Community Award of Honor,25 and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued success.26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Traci28 Tillery.29 H.
