A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Carolyn H. Rambert; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Carolyn H. Rambert began her education2
at L.H. Williams Elementary School and Unionville Elementary School before graduating3
from Ballard-Hudson High School; and4
WHEREAS, she continued her academic journey as a first generation college student at Fort5
Valley State College and, following relocation due to her husband's military service, pursued6
studies at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma; and7
WHEREAS, upon returning to Macon, she resumed her studies at Fo rt Valley State8
University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education; and9
WHEREAS, she further advanced her education through additional studies at Ball State10
University and the City Colleges of Chicago while residing abro ad during her husband's11
assignment at Torrejón Air Force Base in Spain, where she was hired by the Department of12
Defense as an educator; and13

WHEREAS, during her tenure as a Department of Defense educator, she continued her14
professional development by earning a master's degree in early childhood education from15
Mercer University; and16
WHEREAS, she dedicated 30 years of service as an educator with the Department of17
Defense, beginning her career in Spain and continuing a long and impactful career devoted18
to the instruction and development of young learners; and19
WHEREAS, in addition to her professional accomplishments, Carol yn H. Rambert was a20
devoted member of Greater Vineville Baptist Church, where she served as Head of the Youth21
Department, Secretary of Finance, and Head of the Care and Comfort Ministry; and22
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this23
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.24
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that25
the members of this body recognize and commend Carolyn H. Rambert for her decades of26
exemplary service on behalf of her fellow citizens and extend the most sincere best wishes27
for continued health and happiness.28
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized29
and directed to make an appr opriate copy of t his resolution ava ilable for distribution to30
Carolyn H. Rambert.31
