Use or display of work of art or photograph thereof. An art dealer who accepts a work of art on a fee, commission, or other compensation basis on consignment from the artist who created the work of art may use or display the work of art or a photograph of the work of art or permit the use or display of the work of art or a photograph of the work of art only if: (1) Notice is given to users or viewers that the work of art is the work of the artist; and (2) The artist gives prior written consent to the particular use or display. ## History Code 1981, § 10-1-527, enacted by Ga. L. 1995, p. 267, § 1. ## Code Commission Notes Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 1995, a comma was deleted following “a work of art” preceding “on a fee” near the beginning of the introductory paragraph.
