Security officers. The North Georgia Mountains Authority is authorized to appoint security officers to safeguard the property of the authority and the safety of the general public. The duly appointed security officers of the authority are authorized, while on the premises over which the authority exercises dominion and control, to carry weapons, to make arrests, and to exercise such of the police power of the state as may be necessary to maintain peace and order and to enforce any and all lawful zoning, user, and personal conduct regulations. ## History Ga.
