12-3-72. Definitions.

  1. As used in this part, the term:

  2. (1)

    ‘‘Board’’ means the Board of Natural Resources.#

  3. (2)

    ‘‘Heritage area’’ means an area of land, marsh, or water which has been identified by the board as having significant historical, natural, or cultural value.#

  4. (3)

    ‘‘Heritage preserve’’ means a heritage area to which the state holds fee simple title or some lesser estate and which has been dedicated under this part.#

  5. (4)

    ‘‘Private entity’’ means any natural person, corporation, general partnership, limited liability company, limited partnership, joint venture, business trust, public benefit corporation, nonprofit entity, or other business entity.#
