Resignation of directors. (a) A director may resign at any time by delivering notice in writing or by electronic transmission to the board of directors, its chairperson, or to the corporation. (b) A resignation shall be effective when the notice is delivered unless the notice specifies either a later effective date or an effective date determined upon the happening of an event.
