Appeal from appraisal. Within ten days after an appraisal is filed in the office of the clerk of the superior court pursuant to Code Section 14-4-144, either the dissenting stockholder or the corporation may enter an appeal in writing to the superior court from the finding of the arbitrators. At the term succeeding and convening not less than 20 days after the filing of the appeal, the judge of the superior court shall cause an issue to be made and tried by a jury as to the value of the stock with the same right to move for a new trial and to seek appellate review as applies in other cases. ## History Code 1933, § 22-4406, enacted by Ga.
