# O.C.G.A. § 14-8-61. Effective date of laws governing foreign limited liability partnership.

Code Sections 14-8-44 through 14-8-60 and this Code section shall become effective on July 1, 1994, and shall govern all foreign limited liability partnerships transacting business in this state on or after July 1, 1994.

## Editor's Notes

Prior to the 1995 amendment declaring an effective date of July 1, 1994, this Code section stated that Code Sections 14-8-44 through 14-8-60 and this Code section became effective April 1, 1994. Section 3 of Ga. L. 1994, p. 1674, was amended in committee to provide that the Act as a whole would have an effective date of July 1, 1994. Further, the Governor did not sign the Act until April 19, 1994.
