Implementation of constitutional provision. This article is enacted in part pursuant to the authority of Article III, Section IX, Paragraph VI, subparagraph (d) of the Constitution of Georgia, which provision authorizes additional penalty assessments in criminal and traffic cases and provides that the proceeds derived therefrom may be used for the purpose of providing training to law enforcement officers and prosecuting officials. ## History Code 1981, § 15-21-71, enacted by Ga.
