Request for ambulance service when not reasonably needed. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to transmit in any manner a request for ambulance service to any person, firm, or corporation furnishing ambulance service, public or private, knowing at the time of making the request for ambulance service that there exists no reasonable need for such ambulance service. (b) Any person who violates subsection (a) of this Code section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. ## History Ga.
