17-7-27. Sheriffs and constables to accept bond for appearance of witnesses; approval of sureties by sheriff.

  1. The sheriffs and constables shall accept bond in such reasonable amount as may be just and fair to secure the appearance of any witness to attend the courts, provided the sureties tendered and offered on the bond are approved by a sheriff of any county.
