Discontinuance of district — Petition of landowners; hearings. Following the expiration of five years from the organization of a district, any 25 owners of land lying within the boundaries of such district may file a petition with the commission seeking to have the operations of the district terminated and the existence of the district discontinued. The commission may conduct such public meetings and public hearings upon the petition as may be necessary to assist it in the consideration thereof. ## History Ga. L. 1937, p. 377, § 13; Ga.
