Declaration of purpose. The boll weevil, Anthonomus grandis Boheman, is declared to be a serious pest and a menace to the cotton-growing industry. The purpose of this article is to provide for the eradication of this pest. ## History Code 1981, § 2-7-151, enacted by Ga.
