# O.C.G.A. § 20-1-45. Termination.

The council shall be abolished and this article shall stand repealed on December 31, 2030.

Code 1981, § 20-1-45, enacted by Ga. L. 2023, p. 16, § 2/SB 211, effective July 1, 2023; Ga. L. 2025, p. 74, § 2-5/HB 307, effective April 28, 2025.

## Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective April 28, 2025, substituted “December 31, 2030” for “December 31, 2026”.
