Title 20. EDUCATION · Chapter 11. GEORGIA TECH RESEARCH INSTITUTE

20-11-5. Appropriations for research institute; payment.

  1. All moneys appropriated by the General Assembly for the establishment and operation of the Georgia Tech Research Institute, together with any sums which may be appropriated by the Congress or apportioned to the state from the Treasury of the United States for purposes substantially the same as specified in this chapter, shall be paid to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia for the conduct of the work of the research institute authorized by this chapter, provided that the board shall formally present to the Governor its acceptance of the conditions of this chapter.
