Executive director; appointment. The Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission shall appoint an executive director of the commission and shall fix his compensation, duties, and responsibilities consistent with the provisions of this chapter. The executive director of the commission shall exercise the overall supervision and direction of the staff of the commission and shall serve at the pleasure of the commission. The commission may assign and delegate to the executive director such responsibilities, powers, and duties as it may deem proper and appropriate, including the authority to execute on behalf of the commission those documents and other filings required by the Federal Communications Commission and other regulatory agencies. ## History Code 1981, § 20-13-6, enacted by Ga.
