Definitions. As used in this article, the term: (1) “Alliance” means the Alliance of Education Agency Heads created in Article 1 of this chapter. (2) “Board of regents” means the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. (3) “Director” means the director of the Office of Student Achievement. (4) “Early intervention program” means the program established under Code Section 20-2-153. (5) “Office” means the Office of Student Achievement. ## History Code 1981, § 20-14-20, enacted by Ga. L. 2023, p. 16, § 5/SB 211, effective July 1, 2023. ## Code Commission Notes Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2023, paragraphs (1) and (2) were redesignated as paragraphs (2) and (1), respectively, to place them in alphabetical order. ## Amendments The 2023 amendment, effective July 1, 2023, substituted “Alliance” for “Council” and substituted “Alliance of Education Agency Heads” for “Education Coordinating Council” in paragraph (2).
