L. 2014, p. 175, § 1/HB 513, effective April 15, 2014. ## Editor's Notes This chapter, relating to the Georgia Medical Center Authority, consisted of Code Sections 20-15-1 through 20-15-5, 20-15-5.1 through 20-15-5.7, 20-15-6 through 20-15-16. Ga. L. 2014, p. 175, § 1/HB 513, reserved the designation of this chapter, effective April 15, 2014. Ga. L. 2014, p. 175, § 2/HB 513, not codified by the General Assembly, provides that as of April 15, 2014, the Georgia Medical Center Authority is abolished and shall cease to exist. Ga. L. 2014, p. 175, § 3/HB 513, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: “(a) Any funds held by the Georgia Medical Center Authority as of the effective date of this Act shall be paid to the state treasury and become a part of the general funds of the state. “(b) On the effective date of this Act, any outstanding contracts, licenses, and obligations of the Georgia Medical Center Authority shall be transferred to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia until the same are completed or extinguished.” This Act became effective April 15, 2014.
