Agency directors and staff. (a) Each board of control shall appoint and contract with a director who shall be the executive officer of the regional educational service agency. The director shall be responsible for the administration of programs and services approved by the board of control, including the Georgia Learning Resources System, except for those under contract with a local board of education serving as fiscal agents for the Georgia Learning Resources System. (b) The regional educational service agency staff shall consist of those individuals authorized by the board of control to provide the instructional and support services prescribed in this part. ## History Code 1981, § 20-2-273, enacted by Ga.
