20-2-324.3. Unique identifiers for military students.

(a)
This Code section shall be known and may be cited as the “Educating Children of Military Families Act.”#
(b)
The Department of Education is authorized to establish a unique identifier for each student:#
1. (1)
  Whose parent or guardian is an active duty military service member in the armed forces of the United States; and#
2. (2)
  Whose parent is a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States or the National Guard#
3. in a manner that will allow for disaggregation of data for each category.
