Unique identifiers for military students. (a) This Code section shall be known and may be cited as the “Educating Children of Military Families Act.” (b) The Department of Education is authorized to establish a unique identifier for each student: (1) Whose parent or guardian is an active duty military service member in the armed forces of the United States; and (2) Whose parent is a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States or the National Guard in a manner that will allow for disaggregation of data for each category. ## History Code 1981, § 20-2-324.3, enacted by Ga.
