# O.C.G.A. § 20-2-671. Disclosure of prior crimes or disciplinary actions.

(a) If any school administrator determines from the information obtained pursuant to Code Section 15-11-602 or 20-2-670 or from any other source that a student:

(1) Has committed a class A designated felony act or class B designated felony act, as defined in Code Section 15-11-2;

(2) Is the subject of a notice of chronic disciplinary problem made pursuant to Code Section 20-2-765;

(3) Has a current disciplinary and behavioral correction plan pursuant to Code Section 20-2-766; or

(4) Is the subject of a report of the commission of a prohibited act made pursuant to Code Section 20-2-1184,

such administrator shall so inform all teachers to whom the student is assigned that they may review the information in the student’s file provided pursuant to Code Section 20-2-670 received from other schools or from the juvenile courts.

(b) Such information shall be kept confidential.

## Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective April 28, 2025, rewrote the section.
