20-2-773. Restrictions on student health services; utilization of state funds.

  1. (a)

    No facility operated on public school property or operated by a public school district and no employee of any such facility acting within the scope of such employee’s employment shall provide any of the following health services to public school students:#

    1. (1)

      Distribution of contraceptives;#

    2. (2)

      Performance of abortions;#

    3. (3)

      Referrals for abortion; or#

    4. (4)

      Dispensing abortifacients.#

  2. (b)

    The Department of Education and local units of administration are prohibited from utilizing state funds for the distribution of contraceptives.#
