Short title; junior college program. This article shall be known and may be cited as the “Junior College Act of 1958,” and the system established by this article shall be known and may be cited as the “Junior College Program of the State of Georgia.” ## History Ga. L. 1985, p. 598), the General Assembly expressed its approval of the acquisition of DeKalb Junior College by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and the operation of the college as a unit of the University System of Georgia. ## Amendments The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “shall be known and may be cited as” for “shall be known as” in two places.
