Continuance in proceeding to establish lost or destroyed paper. In a proceeding to establish lost papers under Code Section 24-11-23, no continuance shall be granted unless it appears reasonable and just to the court; nor shall a continuance be allowed to the same party more than once, except for providential cause. ## History Code 1981, § 24-11-24, enacted by Ga.
