Penalty. Any person who violates any provision of this article or any valid rule or regulation promulgated by the Commissioner of Agriculture pursuant to the terms of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than 30 days nor more than six months or by a fine of not less than $50.00 nor more than $500.00, or by both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court. ## History Ga.
