# O.C.G.A. § 29-2-1. Categories of guardians for minors.

Guardians of minors may be categorized as follows:

(1) Natural guardians;

(2) Testamentary guardians;

(3) Temporary guardians;

(4) Standby guardians; and

(5) Permanent guardians.
