# O.C.G.A. § 29-9-1. Application of chapter.

Except as otherwise specifically provided by law, the provisions of this chapter shall apply to any proceeding in the court that arises under this title. Compliance with the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be sufficient for proceedings in the court arising under this title, except as otherwise provided in Chapter 11 of Title 9, Chapter 9 of Title 15, and Chapter 11 of this title.

## Amendments

The 2019 amendment, effective January 1, 2020, substituted “Title 9, Chapter 9 of Title 15, and Chapter 11 of this title” for “Title 9 and Chapter 9 of Title 15” at the end of the second sentence of this Code section.
