Definitions. As used in this chapter, the term: (1) ‘‘Dessert wine’’ means a wine having an alcoholic strength of more than 14 percent alcohol by volume but not more than 24 percent alcohol by volume. (2) ‘‘Domestic winery’’ means any winery, manufacturer, maker, producer, or bottler of wine located within the state. (3) ‘‘Foreign winery’’ means any winery, manufacturer, maker, producer, or bottler of wine located outside the state. (4) ‘‘Table wine’’ means a wine having an alcoholic strength of not more than 14 percent alcohol by volume.
