Meaning of the term ‘‘bona fide nonprofit civic organization’’. As used in this article, the term ‘‘bona fide nonprofit civic organization’’ means an entity which is exempt from federal income tax pursuant to the provisions of subsection (c), (d), or (e) of 26 U.S.C.
