Injunction for noncompliance. The operation or maintenance of a clinical laboratory that is not certified, in violation of this chapter, is declared a nuisance, inimical to the public health, welfare, and safety. The commissioner of the Department of Community Health in the name of the people of the state through the Attorney General may, in addition to other remedies provided in this chapter, bring an action for an injunction to restrain such violation or to enjoin the future operation or maintenance of any such clinical laboratory until compliance with this chapter or the rules or regulations promulgated under this chapter has been demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Department of Community Health. ## History Ga.
