Physician protection from administrative retaliation. (a) The Georgia Composite Medical Board shall not revoke, suspend, sanction, fail to renew, or take any other action against a physician’s license solely based on such physician’s recommendation, prescription, or treatment of an eligible patient with an individualized investigational treatment pursuant to this article. (b) The Department of Community Health shall not take action against a healthcare provider’s Medicare certification based solely on such provider’s recommendation that an eligible patient have access to an individualized investigational treatment. ## History Code 1981, § 31-52-25, enacted by Ga.
