31-7-56. Adherence to federal law and regulations.

  1. The establishment of hospital service areas, the determination of relative need, the priority of projects, and the standards of construction shall be consistent with Titles VI and VII of the federal Public Health Service Act, as now or hereafter amended, and the federal regulations prescribed thereunder.

Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, inserted “federal” preceding “Public Health Service Act” in this Code section.
