Rules and regulations. The department shall adopt rules and regulations to administer this article in a manner consistent with its purpose to provide and facilitate access to appropriate, safe, and cost-effective health care services and to maintain health care quality. All providers and volunteers shall be subject to such rules and regulations. The rules may include services to be provided and authorized procedures. ## History Code 1981, § 31-8-200, enacted by Ga.
