Penalties for violations of cease and desist orders. After notice and hearing and upon order of the Commissioner, any person who violates a cease and desist order under Code Section 33-6-8, while the order is in effect may, at the discretion of the Commissioner, be subject to any one or more of the following: (1) A monetary penalty of not more than $10,000.00 for each and every act or violation; (2) Suspension or revocation of such person’s license; or (3) Any other relief as is reasonable and appropriate. ## History Code 1933, § 56-711, enacted by Ga.
