35-2-120. Definitions.

  1. As used in this article, the term:

  2. (1)

    “Capitol Square” means that area designated as such by Code Section 50-2-28.#

  3. (2)

    “Division” means the Capitol Police Division of the department created by this article.#

Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, deleted paragraphs (2) and (3), which read: “(2) ‘Commissioner’ means the commissioner of public safety. “(3) ‘Department’ means the Department of Public Safety.”; and redesignated former paragraph (4) as present paragraph (2).
