# O.C.G.A. § 35-2-161. Creation.

There is established the Office of Public Safety Support within the department.

Code 1981, § 35-2-161, enacted by Ga. L. 2018, p. 716, § 2/HB 703; Ga. L. 2020, p. 671, § 3/HB 838; Ga. L. 2025, p. 1029, § 35(42)(O)/SB 153, effective July 1, 2025.

## Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “department” for “Department of Public Safety” at the end of this Code section.
