# O.C.G.A. § 35-2-5. Chief officer of Uniform Division.

As prescribed by the board, the commissioner may rank as senior colonel in the Uniform Division and may be the chief officer thereof or the board may appoint a colonel in the Uniform Division as the chief officer thereof.

Ga. L. 2000, p. 951, § 13-1, not codified by the General Assembly, provides that the 2000 Act which amended this Code section became effective April 28, 2000, for purposes of authorization for appointments as provided in this Code section as amended by § 12-3 of the 2000 Act.
